In June 2017, Russia put its hands into an Israeli cookie jar by signed a major oil deal with Iraqi Kurdistan government. Russian Rosneft Oil Company is ready to dip its dirty fingers into Iraqi Kurdistan’s estimated natural reserves of 45 billion bbl of oil and 5.66 trillion m3 of gas.
Russia has agreed to import annually one billion dollars worth of oil/gas plus it has pledged to invest another three billion in the Iraqi autonomous region. The oil fields Russia has now gained acces used to be controlled by the central Iraqi government, but were then taken over by pro-West Kurd separatists during the US occupation of Iraq. The deal makes Russia a major oil player in Iraqi Kurdistan – where previously only the Israel was present.
On August 24, 2015, Israeli daily Haaretz reported that Israel is receiving 77% of its oil needs from Iraqi Kurdistan and the rest from Russia. The newspaper also reported: “Washington opposes Kurdish oil exports in principle since it distracts from Iraq’s unity, but it’s unlikely the United States will object to selling oil to Israel.”
On June 12, Israeli propaganda site, Al-Monitor, reported that Iraqi Kurdistan prime minister Nechirvan Barzani had consulted Washington before signing the 20-year oil field lease with Moscow.
“Russia believes Iraq will be divided, if not into three states, then at least into three federal regions. That is why Russia has slowed down working with the central government. If Baghdad opposes the deal, the KRG and Russians will tell them, ‘You are making deals with Americans. They explore oil in the Kurdish region. We will do the same,’” said Al-Monitor.
Since both Israel and Turkey don’t like a pro-Iran Shi’ite government in Baghdad – both Netanyahu and Erdogan have thrown their support behind Iraqi Kurdistan state.
Russia controlled by Orthodox Christianity and communist Jews is no friend of Muslims. It has a long history of invasion and occupation of Muslim lands including Circassia, Dagestan, Chechnya, Crimea, Tatarstan and parts of Georgia. After the Jew-communists took-over Russia in 1917, they invaded and occupied another five Muslim majority states; Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan. Soviet Union was one of the three mid-wives who gave birth to the Zionist cancer in Palestine. It’s first president Dr. Chaim Weizmann was former president of Russian Socialist party.
Russian president Vladimir Putin’s policies in the Middle East are guided by his love for Israel.
Muslim Kurds are scattered in Turkey (14.5 million), Iran (6 million), Iraq (5 million) and Syria (1.5 million) while Jew Kurds live in Israel (100,000) and Russia (65,000).
