Indian prime minister Narendra Modi is visiting the Zionist entity next week to attend 25th anniversary of India-Israel marriage against Muslims.
Jewish media is bending backward to show their excitement over the 2-day visit on July 4.
“Unlike the Trump visit, this one will mark an historic occasion: the first-ever by the prime minister of this country. This individual presides over an economy that is growing at a dizzying pace and could one day emerge as the world’s largest. Yet days before the arrival of the world’s most important prime minister – India’s Narendra Modi – Israel is asleep at the watch,” wrote Israel’s largest English daily Ha’aretz on June 28, 2017.
Other Hebrew newspapers projected Modi as the leader of world’s largest democracy (1.25 billion people), which it’s not by any standard.
Israeli media and its 5 million foreign Jew citizens always get exited over visit of a Muslim-hating world leader such as US president Donald Trump who visit in May 2017, but disappointed Zionist leaders by meeting Palestinian Gandhi Mahmoud Abbas in Ramallah, the Palestinian capital inside Israeli-occupied West Bank. Trump, though accused Iran of terrorizing the peace-loving alien Israeli Jews to great pleasure of the Zionist regime – refused to force Mahmoud Abbas to recognize Israel as a Jewish state.
Thanks G-d, Modi has refused to visit Ramallah even though he had kissed Mahmoud Abbas in New Delhi during a 3-day visit to India last month.
Israel’s prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu hailed his Indian counterpart’s visit to Israel last Sunday during his opening remarks at the weekly cabinet meeting as a very significant step in strengthening bilateral relations that are on a constant upswing.
“Prime minister Narendra Modi is a great friend of Israel. India is a huge country with over 1.25 billion people and is one of the world’s largest, growing economies. Ties between Israel and India are on a “constant upswing“, said Netanyahu (watch a video below).
Modi is scheduled to have dinner with Netanyahu following his arrival to Israel on July 4. He will hold the official meeting with Netanyahu on the next day.
Israel is home to 80,000 Jews from India. Around 4,000 of them are expected to attend an address by Modi in the evening of July 5 in Tel Aviv – reported by the Jewish Daily Forward on June 16, 2017.
While 56% of Indian citizens live in severe poverty, India is one of the largest Israel’s arms buyers.
While India has emerged as the largest importer of arms with a 12% share of world arms imports, it has sunk to sub-Saharan levels in social indices of development. Whereas the US imports only 10% of its weapons, and China 30%, India imports 70%. If imports by DPSUs, whose import dependence is 35% to 45% of their budget, are taken into account, India’s total dependence on arms and component imports could be as high as 80% to 85%. While the major focus in India where arms imports are concerned is on bribes (or kickbacks), for which there seems to be a nexus of politicians, corporations, bureaucrats, defense officers, and media personalities, there is another factor that deserves attention – the possibility of the dependence on imports jeopardizing the country’s strategic manoeuvrability,” wrote Gautam Navlakha, an Indian writer at the South Asia Citizen Web.
