Chinese president: East Jerusalem is not Israel

677144801001492640360no1On Thursday,  addressing Arab leaders at the Arab League headquarter in Cairo, Chinese president Xi Jinping said that East Jerusalem should be the capital of an independent Palestinian state.

China firmly supports the Middle East peace process, the establishment of a state of Palestine with full sovereignty on the basis of the 1967 borders and East Jerusalem as its capital,” he said.

The president stressed that the Palestinian issue should not fall into oblivion as it is of fundamental importance to peace in the Middle East. He stressed that the international community should promote the resumption of the talks that collapsed in April 2014.

In the meantime to aid the Palestinian economic hardship, Beijing promised to provide 50 million Chinese Yuan ($7.6 million) in the form of a grant to support solar power station project in its territories.

Ironically, many Arab League member states don’t recognize democratically elected Hamas government in Gaza Strip under pressure from Washington, Tel Aviv, and Riyadh. Egypt itself has closed Rafah border crossing with Gaza as part of Israeli agenda to starve 1.7 million Gazans to turn against Hamas government.

China is a close ally of the Zionist entity since it established diplomatic relations in 1992. War criminal Shimon Peres and Yitzhak Rabin were the first Zionist leaders who made state visit to China after the Oslo Accords. Chinese president Xi Jinping mourned Peres’ death by calling him, the father of strategic relations between Israel and China. Israel is known for selling advanced US military technology to China.

China, one of the five veto powers at UNSC, has also cultivated close economical and strategic relations with Pakistan and Iran – Israel’s major regional enemies. Pakistan is the first Muslim state to establish diplomatic relations with communist China in 1950. Pakistan played a major role in bringing China-US together.

On January 15, 2017, foreign ministers and government officials from 70 nations attended a conference in Paris to discuss options to resolve Israel’s occupation of Palestinian Territories. Netanyahu condemned Hollande government for sponsoring the conference. The conference supported the establishment of an independent Palestinian State over the West Bank, Gaza with East Jerusalem its capital.

French foreign minister Jean-Marc Ayrault warned the US president-elect Donald Trump if he moved US embassy to Jerusalem – it would be a serious provocation effecting not only for the US and Europe but many of Israel’s Arab friendly regimes (Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Jordan, UAE) could turn against Tel Aviv.

Netanyahu is arriving in Washington to meet Donald Trump next month. He hopes Trump will announce the moving of US embassy to West Jerusalem after their meeting. US ambassador to Israel, David Friedman is Trump’s family lawyer and an opponent of Palestinian State.

The United Nations considers East Jerusalem to be occupied Palestinian territory. But Zionist leaders have always insisted the entire City of Jerusalem being eternal capital of Israel. In October 2016, UNESCO declared that old city of Jerusalem had nothing to do with Jewish people. So far, only two countries El Salvador and Guatemala have recognized undivided city of Jerusalem as capital of the Zionist entity. All other 191 states have their embassies in Tel Aviv which is recognized as capital of Israel by the United Nations.

In the meantime Trump found a way out: the US ambassador will work out of Jerusalem for the time being…. Oy, poor guy! He’ll have to commute between Tel Aviv and Jerusalem so Trump cam have his gefilte fish and eat it:
