On Tuesday, during a meeting in his office with Ramadan Abdullah Mohammad Shallah, the leader of Palestinian Islamic resistance, Iran’s president Dr. Hassan Rouhani warned Palestinians of Zionist regime’s exploiting the current military and political insecurities in the region to divert world attention from its brutal oppression of Palestinian nation – reminding them that they have no other alternative to continue their armed resistance (Jihad) against the Zionist entity.
Rouhani said that the Zionist regime has in the past two decades misused the security problems in the region. He said that the regime and its supporters have paved the ground for terrorists’ operation in the regional states, specially Afghanistan, Pakistan, Iraq, Syria, Lebanon and even North Africa to make them busy with internal security problems and forget the Palestinian issue.
Abdullah, for his part, appreciated Iran’s support for the Palestinian people and resistance groups, and said if Iran didn’t help, the Palestinians wouldn’t be able to maintain their position and inform the world of their ideas and causes.
After the November 21, 2012 ceasefire between Tel Aviv and Gaza-ruling Hamas, brokered by Hillary Clinton then US secretary of state with help from Egyptian and Jordanian governments – Hamas and Islamic Jihad appreciated Iranian support during Jewish army’s carpet-bombing by erecting huge Thank You Iran billboards in the city-state.
On Wednesday, Abdullah visited Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatullah Ali Khamenei’s office. Khamenei told his visitor that if Palestinians continue their armed resistance against Tel Aviv, the Zionist regime will cease to exist in 25 years.
Islamic Jihad (Harakat al-Jihad al-Islami fi Filastin in Arabic) is not part of main Palestinian Islamic resistance Hamas which has been ruling the Gaza Strip since 2006. However, it has always allied with Hamas to defend 1.9 million people living in Gaza against Israel’s unprovoked attacks.
Islamic Jihad like Hamas is 100% Sunni Muslim but is more inspired by Lebanese Shi’ite resistance Hizbullah which was able to defeat Jewish army in 2006.
Interestingly, on April 13, 2010, a report authored by Holly Fletcher of Zionist advocacy filth CFR said that Islamic Jihad is more dangerous to Israel’s existence than Hamas though according to Jewish creep both groups were established by former members of Egyptian Muslim Brotherhood.
Hamas’ political leaders Khaled Mashal vacated his long-held seat in Damascus in 2012 over differences with Bashar al-Assad and took resistance in pro-US Qatar – Islamic Jihad has maintained its presence in Palestinian community in Syria like the People’s Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP).
Iran’s Supreme Leader is well-known for his support of Muslim resistances in Bosnia, Kashmir, Bahrain, Lebanon and Palestine. He even supported South Africans’ fight against the Apartheid regime. For his support, Nelson Mandela called Ayatullah Ali Khamenei MY LEADER (watch below).
