British Organized Jewry has condemned Corbyn for his never-ending endorsement of party members who are known for their hatred towards Israel.
Jewish groups have accused Yasmin Qureshi of comparing Israel with the Nazis for treating Palestinians like Nazis treated Jews in Europe in 2014.
“Of course, many million peoples (Christian, Gypsies, Jews, and atheists) perished. It is quite strange that some of the people who are running the State of Israel seem to be quite complacent and happy to allow the same to happen in Gaza,” she said.
The Board of UK’s Jewish Deputies’ vice-president Marie van der Zyl said: Yasmin Qureshi’s 2014 quote comparing the Israel-Palestine conflict with the Holocaust was offensive and she was right to apologise. Naturally, we hope she will be more judicious in her new role as Shadow Justice Minister.
Jewish press, as usual, claims that she apologized for her remark later – but we all know Jewish vengeance is forever.
Historically, Qureshi’s comparison is very mild as Nazis never occupied a Jewish state such as Birobidjan in Soviet Russia. It were Jews who called for the destruction of Germany and not the other way around.
Palestinians never joined Nazi Army while it had 150,000 German Jews plus Jewish terrorist militias such as Hagana, Irgun and Stern Gang.
Yasmin, a lawyer by profession, was human-rights adviser to former London Mayor Ken Livingstone. She is married and lives in Bolton. She, Rushanara Ali and Shabana Mahmood, elected at the same time, are the United Kingdom’s first female Muslim MPs.
Readers should not confuse anti-Israel MP Yasmin Qureshi with NY-based Yasmeen Qureshi, a reporter and documentary producer, who shares many ‘Jewish values’ such as ‘sexual liberation’.
