British TV fires actor for tweeting truth about India

Anwar played Sharif Nazir in Coronation Street

On September 27, 2016, Pakistan-born British actor Marc Anwar (born Anwarul Haq), 45, who played Sharif Nazir in the ITV soap-opera Coronation Street, was fired for exposing India’s imperialism and Hindu customs.

The alleged tweets from Anwar’s protected account, published by the newspaper, were critical of India over the disputed state of Jammu and Kashmir and called on Pakistani actors to stop working in the country.

The tweet also called Indian Hindus cow piss drinkers. In fact Gandhi, Morarji Desai, Madonna, actress Sarah Miles, author JD Salinger and many other famous people have allegedly drank cow pee or used their own pee to solve their problems (here).

Anwar’s comments come amid recent Kashmiri fighters attacking an Indian military base inside Indian occupied part of Kashmir Valley – killing 17 Indian soldiers.

ITV, Jewish-controlled channel, said in a statement: “We are deeply shocked by the entirely unacceptable, racially offensive comments made on Twitter by Marc Anwar. We have talked to Marc and, as a consequence of his comments, he will not be returning to Coronation Street with immediate effect.”

His character, gymnasium boss Sharif Nazir, will still appear in scenes that have already been filmed for upcoming episodes.

Anwar has also appeared in Hollywood films, including Captain Phillips and 51st State.

Anwar in a twitter post said: For the record, was to leave show, end of contract in November, apology is from regret, for offending not at early exit. Love all.

After his sacking the actor posted a petition on his twitter accounts, saying: White House : Declare India a terrorist state – Sign the Petition!

Marc also wrote: No human controls my livelihood but My Allah. Never have never will grovel to anyone! Proud Muslim, proud Pakistani, very proud British.

Several British anti-Muslim and pro-Israel groups have demanded police to investigate Anwar for his hatred toward non-Muslims.

The Indian Express reported last week that the film workers association of Raj Thackeray’s party gave a 48-hour notice to all Pakistani artists to leave India otherwise they will do it themselves, forcefully.

We gave a 48 hour deadline to Pakistani actors and artists to leave India or MNS will push them out,” said Amey Khopkar, MNS Chitrapat Sena.

Raj’s father and MNS founder Bal Thackeray (died 2012) was a great admirer of Adolf Hitler and the Zionist entity.
