Lobby fears Ahmadinejad’s comeback

hugo_chavez_y_mahmoud_ahmadinejad_1_zps26b1914a[1]On September 5, 2016, Israel’s propaganda filth, the Gatestone Institute, founded by Nina Rosenwald, aka The Sugar Mama of Anti-Muslim Hate reported that Iran’s former president professor Mahmoud Ahmadinejad is being pursued by Iran’s so-called “hardliners” (read pro-Hamas) to contest 2017 presidential election against the current president Sheikh Hassan Rouhani.

Iran’s former president, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, saying he wants to “redefine revolutionary ideals” set up by the leader of Iran’s 1979 Islamic revolution, Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini, appears to be launching a campaign to run in the upcoming Iranian presidential elections, in February, 2017,” said the report.

Does the idiot who authored this report knows that “redefining the 1979 Revolution” is job of Iran’s Supreme Leader and not country’s executive branch?

The report repeated old Israeli lies to demonize Ahmadinejad such as Wipe Israel off the map and that he denied Holocaust, even though it is the greatest myth of the last century and protected by 15 European governments as a crime to challenge the Zionist story of the so-called ‘Six Million Died’.

It also claimed that Ahmadinejad was the least popular president among Iranians even though he received 61% and 54% votes in first and re-election.

Ahmadinejad was well-known for his incendiary and provocative speeches, which included denying the Holocaust. At the end of his presidential term, from 2005 to 2013, his approval rating was extremely low, and he managed to drive away most constituents across political spectrum, including the topmost hardline leaders. He also became the first Iranian president since 1979 to be summoned by the parliament (Majlis) to answer questions regarding his activities and policies,” report said.

President’s being scrutinized by the elected lawmakers is a basic tradition of Islamic Shari’ah and even western democratic system which is hardly practiced in many western and non-western nations.

During his presidency, people enjoyed subsidies on items including petrol, natural gas and electricity, and his government distributed monthly cash handouts of about $17 to every person. These, as well as criticism of corruption, injustice, and capitalism, were appealing to the rural population and the less affluent,” added the report.

No wonder the Wall Street, WB, IMF, and the Zionist vultures hated Ahmadinejad for the above pro-99% activities.

The latest poll by the Center for International and Security Studies (CISSM) at the University of Maryland revealed that Ahmadinejad now represents the single largest threat to Rouhani’s re-election, and trails the once-popular incumbent by only eight points. Suddenly, the ex-president seems once again to be a real political contender.

The CISSM is Zionist think tank headed by professor John D. Steinbruner (Jewish) and allied with Jewish Brookings Institution.

The report claims that Ahmadinejad’s ratings have gone up since he wrote a letter to Obama last month.

Ahmadinejad is the only Iranian academic (ex-head of Civil Engineering at University of Tehran), who was elected country’s president. He was Mayor of Tehran before elected president. He was born into a poor Blacksmith family and never attended an Islamic theologian school.

Currently, Ahmadinejad is member of country’s Expediency Council (EC) which mediate disputes between the Iranian Majlis (parliament) and the Guardian Council, and serves as an advisory body to the Supreme Leader Ayatullah Ali Khamenei – making it one of the most powerful governing bodies in the country (here).

Though Iranian press has not reported Ahmadinejad’s plan to contest the 2017 presidential election – personally, I wish he does that.
