On February 2016, Brooklyn College president Karen Gould (a Zionist Jew) accused two students, Thomas DeAngelis and Sarah Aly, of shouting “Zionist pig” at college’s Jewish professor Yedidyah Langsam during protest held at a Feb. 16 faculty meeting; the protesters made demands on issues like tuition, safety and diversity. Some students also began chanting slogans against Zionists or Zionism.
The activists said that characterization was “a gross exaggeration, and that no comment of such a nature was made.”
Langsam, who was chairing the faculty meeting didn’t recall the two students calling him “Zionist pig”. He told the investigation committee: “I cannot quote you word for word what exactly occurred. Clearly a student turned to me, as chair, and said to me, “You Zionist blank. The blank, what it was, I don’t know, because I don’t remember the word that was said.”
But Langsam insisted that “whether you are for Zionism or anti-Zionism, in today’s climate, anti-Zionism is a thinly veiled anti-Jewish remark. Today the word is used as a politically correct way of antisemitism.”
Another Jewish professor Yehuda Klein, who attended the meeting didn’t agree with Miss Gould’s allegations but said the protestors had pro-Palestine activists among them who created “an element of anti-Semitism” in the protest, mixed in with other demands.
However, UK’s top propagandist, Jewish chronicle, and pro-Israel students at the campus insisted that they heard several protestors shouting “anti-Zionism” and “anti-Israel” slogans.
On Wednesday, the investigating committee exonerated the two students of charges because it couldn’t find a single reliable witness to back-up Karen Gould’s “crying wolf”.
British veteran war reporter and author Alan Hart in his book, ZIONISM: THE REAL ENEMY OF THE JEWS, which has been translated in German and Italian. In the book Alan Hart debunks the Zionist narrative of Palestine and Arab history in relation with Jews and concludes that Zionism and not the Arabs is the real enemy of the Jews.
