Several Canadian Jewish groups lead by B’nai Brith are running a vicious campaign to block the entry into Canada of top French comedian Dieudonne M’bala M’bala for the second time to perform in Montreal – Canadian city with country’s largest Jewish population.
Dieudonne is slated to appear May 11-16 at ten sold-out shows in a 200-seat art gallery theater in Montreal’s east end.
On Friday, Montreal Mayor Denis Coderre criticized Dieudonne’s performance on his twitter account, accusing the actor of promoting hatred and social division. Coderre, as Liberal party MP, visited Tel Aviv and fell in love the city. I bet he was fascinated by city’s 280 Jewish brothels and famous annual gay parade. If he remembered how Canadians reacted to screening of Israel’s propaganda movie Tel Aviv at 2009 Toronto International Film Festival, he would not had accused Dieudonne of promoting hatred toward Zionist Jews.
The Centre for Israel and Jewish Affairs (CIJA), Canada’s main Israel lobby group called on Justin Trudeau government in Ottawa to keep the comedian out of Canada.
In May 2012, Dieudonne’s performances in Montreal was canceled under Jewish Lobby pressure.
The French Jewish Lobby CRIF declared Dieudonne anti-Semite a decade ago for criticizing the Zionist regime and supporting Palestinians and Iranian. CRIF and the Jewish lobby groups in Britain and several other EU member nation have got Dieudonne banned to perform in those countries. He has been fined by French courts on several occasions in the past for ‘insulting’ Jewish people, and not believing in ‘official stories’ of Charlie Hebdo and the Paris attacks.
