Bolivia’s first indigenous president Juan Evo Morales, visited Islamic Republic on November 23 to attend one-day Gas Exporting Countries Forum (GECF) in Tehran. He met Iranian president Sheik Hassan Rouhani, Russian president Vladimir Putin and Turkmenistan’s president Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedow on the sideline of the forum.
Yosef A. Maiman, 69, an Israeli businessman and ex-Mossad agent owns a lion share of Turkmenistan’s gas reserves. He is founder-CEO of Merhav Group of Companies, which operate as front for Israeli Mossad (here).
Morales, gives credit to Iran’s former president Dr. Ahmadinejad for establishing Bolivia-Iran friendship. Morales had to pay dearly for his personal friendship with Ahmadinejad and Venezuela’s late president Hugo Chavez. Morales has blamed CIA for poisoning Chavez.
In 2009, Morales broke his country’s diplomatic ties with Zionist entity in protest over Israeli attack on Gaza. In July 2013, Bolivian jet bringing Morales home from Moscow was skyjacked on the orders of Austrian Jewish president Heinz Fischer.
Morales has visited Iran several times in the past. He supports Iran’s legal right to pursue its civilian nuclear program. In the past Israel had accused both Bolivia and Venezuela of supplying uranium for Iran’s nuclear program without some proof.
Last month Morales announced that Bolivia will build its first nuclear research facility with Russian technology and help from Argentina. I’m afraid with newly elected pro-Israel Argentinian president Mauricio Marci, Morales may have to seek Iranian help.
During his recent visit he was interviewed by Iran’s Spanish language news channel Hispan TV.
Morales said that the West fuels terrorism for its own interests.
“When I was elected president, US ambassador (Philip Goldberg) along with a group of Congressmen came to meet me and said I could not establish diplomatic relation with Cuba, Venezuela and Iran,” Morales said.
“I told them Bolivia seeks to forge diplomatic ties with all the countries around the world. No one could dictate to us which country we could have relations with. It’s interesting to see that the US has resumed its diplomatic relation with Cuba and have reached an agreement with the Islamic Republic. This means they followed my footsteps instead of it being the other way around. Only Venezuela remains for the US to restore its ties,” Morales said.
Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatullah Ali Khamenei has refused to bless re-establishing Iran-US diplomatic relation, while denouncing the US as mother of all conflicts in the region.
Bolivia, Venezuela, and Cuba are the leading member states of the Bolivarian Revolution, where Iran holds an Observer position.
