The Board of Deputies of British Jews, issued its 2015 General Election Jewish Manifesto, which urged the contestants to pledge more to look after Israel’s interests than the country they’re supposed to represent. Currently, the BDBJ is demanding a similar pledge from Jeremy Corbyn, the leading candidate for UK’s Labour Party.
One of the Manifesto’s many demands that the newly elected British MPs would insist that European Union declare all factions of Lebanese Islamic Resistance Hizbullah as a ‘terrorist organization’ and not just its military wing, which the EU declared a ‘terrorist organization’ in 2013.
Many investigative journalists and authors; Muslim, Christian, and Jew have written about Israeli and Zionist propaganda lies about Hizbullah (here, here and here), the only resistance group that has defeated the Jewish army, not once but twice, in 2000 and 2006. The latest publication in this series is the book, Hezbollah: An Outsider’s Inside View, by British writer and author Brenda Heard. After reading the book review by Richard Edmondson, who has visited Lebanon – I admit he said everything I could have said.
In February 2015, 28 US lawmakers wrote to UN secretary-general Ban Ki-moon, demanding the international organization stop Hizbullah rearming. The letter accused the UN for throwing Israel under bus by failing to enforce resolutions including the one which calls for disbanding all Lebanese and non-Lebanese militias fighting against Israel.
In June 2015, American journalist and ex-editor Jewish Harper’s Magazine, Ken Silverstein , offended the Organized Jewry by penning an article, entitled, Hizbullah Might Just Be Our Best Bet For Middle East Stability.
American Jewish journalist and author, Steve Lendman, posted an article supporting Sheikh Nasrallah’s stand against the Zionist regime, which debunks the US and Israeli lies about Hizbullah.
“Hizbullah is a legitimate part of Lebanese government. It’s not a terrorist organization as Washington and Israel claim. It’s born out of Jewish army’s 1982 invasion – devastating naked aggression slaughtering nearly 18,000 people mostly civilians including Sabra and Shatila Palestinian refugee camp massacres,” Lendman said.
