“On July 2, 2014, a Paris court ruled that the Solomon R. Guggenheim Foundation may continue to display art as it wishes in the Venetian Palazzo bequeathed by the art collector Peggy Guggenheim (member of Jewish multi-billionaire Rothschild family). In doing so it rejected the claims made by a group of her descendants that the foundation was required by their ancestor’s will to limit art displayed at her former home only to what was included in her private collection,” reported by Jewish Business News, July 3, 2014.
The Solomon R. Guggenheim Foundation is building a $800 million Guggenheim Museum of Art on Saadiyat Island (Island of Happiness), Abu Dhabi. The project includes a half-billion-dollar branch of the Louvre Museum designed by Jean Nouvel, a national museum designed by Norman Foster, luxury resorts, golf clubs, marinas and acres of private villas.
The 450,000 sq. ft. building complex is brainchild of Canadian-born renowned American Jewish architect Frank (Ephraim) Gehry. The museum is expected to be 12-times larger that the size of the Guggenheim’s Frank Lloyd Wright museum in New York and will display art from the 1960s to the present.
The Guggenheim Abu Dhabi is the largest museum in a series of cultural institutions planned as part of the Saadiyat Island Cultural District, which will serve the world as a destination for the advancement of knowledge and the understanding of the western, Arabic and Islamic culture through the arts.
Since 2011, several groups of Artists and labors have been protesting against to exploitation of foreign workers at the project. What the Jewish media is not reporting is that the Guggenheim Abu Dhabi is to help sell luxury real estate at Island being developed for the 1% rich fatcats.
The Saadiyat Island is also home to the NY University with a Zionist Jew president John Sexton. His current salary is $1.5 million and is entitled to receive $2.5 million “length of service bonus” in 2015. He is rumored to retire in 2016. Last year, Sexton condemned the American Studies association (ASA) for the academic boycott of Israel. John Sexton’s Jewish conscience never bothered him at the oppressive rule in UAE or the ongoing oppression of the Palestinian academic and students in Israel.
