Between Sept. 29-Oct. 1, Tehran played host to the second New Horizon: the International Conference of Independent Thinkers. The conference was attended by 30 foreign scholars, thinkers, authors and human rights activists around the world. The first conference was held in 2012, which was addressed by then president of Iran Dr. Ahmadinejad.

American anti-war Jewish activist Medea Benjamin and co-founder of CODEPINK was one of the conference participants.

American investigative journalist Wayne Madsen also attended the conference. He is quoted saying that both the White House and Congress are controlled by the Zionist Jews.

Two Canadian, Eric Walberg, journalist and author from Toronto, and professor Anthony James Hall (University of Lethbridge) were among those participants.

American investigative journalist and author of Manufactured Crisis: The Untold Story of the Iran Nuclear Scare, Garth Porter, who addressed the conference on the first day, accused the Zionist entity, Mossad and CIA for manufacturing Iran’s nuclear hoax.

Brazilian investigative journalist Pepe Escobar also attended the conference. He described the conference, saying: “The New Horizon conference could not but be about information war. The overall theme was the fight against the Zionist lobby. Everyone knows what the lobby means and how it operates, especially in the US. And yet, in my short interventions, at the Foreign Ministry and at the conference, I preferred to focus on its global financial/economic reach. Follow the money. That’s the only way to pierce the lobby’s seemingly invincible armory.

Mark D. Siljander, PhD, an Evangelical Christian, former Republican congressman, deputy ambassador to United Nations, and author also attended the conference. As a congressman, he was known for his anti-Islam actions. He once walked out of the White House National Prayer Breakfast when a speaker quoted from Holy Qur’an, calling it “Book of Devil”. After learning how Holy Qur’an praises Jesus and his mother Mary while both are cursed in Jewish Talmud, he got involved in Muslim-Christian interfaith dialogues. He is against Washington’s blind support for the Zionist entity. In 2012, he was framed in bribery by Zionist groups and ended up spending some times in jail.

Britain was represented by one of my favorites, Bishop Stephen Sizer.

French philosopher and author Thierry Meyssan also attended the conference.

The French anti-Israel ‘comedian WMD’, Dieudonne M’bala M’bala, also attended the conference.

American film-maker Art Olivier, who has been chased by the Jewish Lobby for years for daring to produce films on “anti-Semite” topics like 9/11 and Israeli murder of Rachel Corrie. Watch below his film ‘Operation Terror’.

American writer and a radio host from Hawai’i, Kaui’la Pele, also attended the conference.

The other participants included ex-US Marine Ken O’Keefe, Mondomoussa Sadra from Congo, Manuel Ochsenreiter, an editor from Germany, Leonid Savin, head of the International Eurasian Movement, Moscow, Rev. Dr. Randy Short from Washington DC, Isabelle Praile from Belgium, Laila Alavi, author of children’s book on Rachel Corrie’s life, ‘Nightmare of a Dream’, etc.

The conference is declared “anti-Israel”, and its participants being “anti-Semites, Holocaust deniers and 9/11 conspiracy theorists” by two powerful pro-Israel US Jewish organizations, the Anti-Defamation League and American Jewish Committee.

A disturbing new element in this anti-Jewish gathering is the appearance on the guest list of a few high-visibility US anti-war and anti-Israel activists who claim their positions are not motivated by anti-Semitism,” said Abraham H. Foxman, America’s highest-paid ($762,000 per year) lobbyist.

At the end of the conference, the participants were taken on tour of the former US Embassy in Tehran, which has been turned into the “Nest of Spies Museum’.
