Former US president Dubya George Bush Jr. has upset Jewish groups by agreeing to deliver keynote address at a $100,000-a-plate fundraising gala event in Irving, Texas, next week, for the Messianic Jewish Bible Institute. Sara Posner has equated Bush with Islamophobe Glenn Beck at the Mother Jones (November 7, 2013). Jay Michaelson in an article published by Jewish Daily Forward (November 8, 2013), cursed both the pro-Israel Evangelical Christian group and George Bush – calling them “Uncle Baums”, whatever that means in the Zionist dictionary!
“To be clear, Messianic Judaism is a sham. Yes, there are some people who believe themselves to be Jewish believers in Jesus – sorry, Yeshua – and who wear kippas around the Christmas Tree. But this small group of eccentric believers is propped up by millions of religious-philanthropic dollars. They are a front. Uncle Baums,” wrote Michaelson.
“Well, now the ex-emperor has no clothes. Unless you think that helping Jews find Jesus is “good for the Jews,” this latest act of Bush’s evangelical faith – entirely consistent with previous ones – should set that myth to rest. Evangelicals like Bush sincerely love the Jews, but they love us in a very particular way: because, by ceasing to become Jews, we play an instrumental role in the Christian apocalyptic narrative,” whined Michaelson.
Jonathan S. Tobin, writing for the website of Commentary, an opinion journal founded by the American Jewish Committee, said Bush’s decision to speak to the messianic group was “troubling.” He said, however, that Bush, like many evangelical Christians, has been a strong and reliable supporter of Israel.
“As for Bush, whatever you may think of his politics, he is no enemy of the Jews, not while he was president and not today. His record on Israel, and indeed his friendship for the American Jewish community, is a matter of record.” said Tobin.
Last year, Abraham Foxman, head of Israel lobby group ADL had slammed former Sen. Rick Santorum for attending a meeting of evangelicsl Christian group. Santorum is a known anti-Iran, anti-Palestinian Israel Firster.
Both Bush and Tony Blair are known to claim to be “born again” Christians. This was one of the reasons they teamed-up with the local Jewish lobby groups to destroy Iraq for the benefit of the Zionist entity.
The Jewish groups’ problem with the so-called “Messanic Jews or Evangelical Christians” is that Jewish groups love their cash and moral support for Israel, but hate them for converting Jews to Christianity.
American Christian cleric, Ted Pike, has condemned fellow Pastor John Hagee and his pro-Israel organization, Christians United for Israel (CUFI), for selling their souls to the devil.
“Jesus said it is when we deny His name — when the pro-Israel evangelical, out of deference to the wishes of Christ-rejecting Jews, agrees not to pray publicly in the name of Jesus or witness to Jews in Christ’s name, testifying that He is the only hope of salvation. When that happens, he loses his salvation,” he wrote on July 22, 2013. Read more here.
This latest controversary between Jewish Lobby and its “Israel-Firster Christians” reminds me the US-Russian Jewish journalist, Mark Ames, who wrote an article, titled, Save A Jew, Save Yourself, on October 19, 2004.
“Whatever you do, do not invite the Christian Zionist into your house. Because
as much as he claims to love you and all of your fellow tribesmen, it’s a different kind of love than you might expect. More like the love that the Manson Family had for Sharon Tate and her party guests. Ned and about 65 million other fellow American Evangelical cultists love Jews for one simple reason: They hope to bundle every hairy Jewish ass up, air-freight them to the West Bank and East Jerusalem (once those areas have been cleansed of Muslims), and use the Jews as bait to bring upon the Rapture, as kindling in the Apocalypse, the final battle that will bring Jesus back to Earth. None of this can happen until every last Jew is penned into the occupied territoriesand the Jews won’t get there unless the far-right runs Israel and America. Currently 65 million American cultists are using everything in their power, from prayer to politics, to make this Helter Skelter scenario come true,” wrote Ames.
I hope Jewish Lobby will be relieved to know that though 1.7 billion Muslims do believe in the second-coming of Isa (Jeses) as a Muslim leaders but they don’t believe he will force Jews or the Pauline Christians to accept the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) as their Saviour. The same goes for the 350 million Shias’ Imam Mahdi.
