A few years ago, when Israel-born British Israel-Palestine peace activist, Gilad Atzmon published his controversial book, ‘The Wandering Who: A study of Jewish Identity Politics‘, many so-called “friends of Palestine” activists emerged from the woodwork to condemn Atzmon for blaming Jews for the on-going bloodshed in the Middle East.
US-born Israeli citizen, Gershon Baskin PhD, founder of Israel/Palestine Center for Research and Information (IPCRI), and a columnist for Israel’s daily Jerusalem Post, is one of them. He has “friends” both in Fatah and Hamas camps. Baskin played a major role in the release of Gilad Shalit, the Israeli soldier who was captured by Hamas fighters during a raid at Israeli military outpost in 2006.
On July 10, 2014, Dr. Baskin penned an article for the top British-Israel news website Jewish Chronicle, entitled “I beg Hamas for a ceasefire, but they said: No, bring it on“.
“I spent hours this week trying to convince my main Hamas contact to speak to his leaders to call for an immediate, unconditional, 24-hour ceasefire in order to stop the escalation. But Hamas leadership decided to ignore the possibility of a ceasefire and instead challenged Israel to bring on the battle. These irresponsible leaders are criminals to their own people,” wrote Baskin.
Does this lying Jew expects people to believe that Hamas with no tank, helicopter or F-16 is in the position to “challenge” the so-called “world’s fourth most powerful army”?
On June 5, 2014, Iraq-born American Jew professor Alon Ben-Meir, another self-claimed “peace activist” posted on his blog that in order to change Israeli mindset – Palestinians have to change their mindset first. In other words, Ben-Meir believes that victims of robbers and killers need to love and respect their abusers!
Alan Hart, British veteran journalist and author, in response to Ben-Meir’s Zionist rant said: “I feel most Israelis have been brainwashed by Zionist propaganda to the point where they are and will most likely remain beyond reason on the matter of justice for the Palestinians.” Read full response here.
Last week, in an interview with Iran’s Press TV, Gilad Atzmon claimed that the abduction and killing of three Jew settlers was an Israeli false flag operation to invade Gaza.
“The fact that three young Israelis were murdered a week ago – and by the way we don’t know who murdered them. It’s more than possible that this was an Israeli false flag operation,” said Atzmon.
Commenting on Israeli lobbyist’s claim that Israel is the “only democracy in the Middle East” – Gilad Atzmon said: “I think calling Israel a democracy is slightly pathetic. I’ve heard it many times. I want to remind your viewers that in the “Israeli democracy” half of the people living within Israel-controlled territories, are living in open-air” prisons. Gaza is an open air prison and it’s not a state – it’s still under Israeli control as we know. The west Bank is also an open air prison and when Israel feel like it – like in the last week, it enters the West Bank, it kills, it arrests. It’s not a democracy, it’s “Jewish democracy”, and in practice, it’s a terrorist state.” Read rest of the transcript of the interview here and watch the video below.
