World-renowned American Jewish investigative journalist and author, Seymour H. Hersh, in a recent article published by London Review of Books (December 8, 2013), has claimed that Barack Obama and the Zionist-controlled mainstream media wrongly blamed Syrian president Bashar al-Assad for using chemical weapons which killed over thousand people on August 21, 2013.
“In the days leading up to August 21st, we know that Assad’s chemical weapons personnel prepared for an attack near an area where they mix sarin gas. They distributed gas masks to their troops. Then they fired rockets from a regime-controlled area into 11 neighbourhoods that the regime has been trying to wipe clear of opposition forces,” claimed Israel-Firster Barack Obama.
Hersh claims that during his interview with US military and intelligence officials, he was told: “The guys are throwing their hands in the air and saying, “How can we help this guy” – Obama – “when he and his cronies in the White House make up the intelligence as they go along?”
Interestingly, the Israeli Hasbara main mouthpieces in the United States, The Jew York Times, Washington Post or Haffington Post, where most of Hersh’s writings usually appear, ignored this piece.
I guess, CIA or AIPAC didn’t inform Barack Obama that Israelis received similar gas masks several months ahead of the Syrian attack. Furthermore, the so-called “opposition forces” are not Syrian but foreign militants funded by Israel’s western and Arab allies.
British MP George Galloway, was one of the first European politicians to claim that Israel was behind the chemical attack.
Adrian Salbuchi, an Argentinean political analyst, writer and author, posted an article at the Russian Television (RT) website on August 31, 2013, titled, Israel: The missing link in Syria puzzle.
“As the world holds its breath, wondering when the US and its allies will attack Syria, Western governments and its well-oiled mainstream media seem to be ignoring a key player that has kept strangely quiet during this crisis: Israel,” said Salbuchi.
And how the Zionist entity expect to install an anti-Iran, anti-Hizbullah regime change in Damascus? Salbuchi explains as follows:
Ever since the two Gulf wars, America has been fighting Israelis’ wars for them. The Iraq War was to a great extent a proxy war that only benefitted Israel, becoming a huge headache for America, which lost thousands of its sons.
The excessive and overpowering role that Zionism plays in American politics, American finance, American universities, American mainstream media including it Hollywood “entertainment industry,” and over American foreign policy, has been all but proven. This vital issue today lies at the heart of an increasingly far-reaching debate among America’s intelligentsia, which is, of course, being hushed up by the mainstream media.
In it, they show in a very convincing and well-documented manner the long reach and powerful clout that the “Israel First” lobby exercises over the US media, the banks, the Congress, the State Department and the Pentagon, whereby they are able to systematically tip the scales in favor of Israel, no matter what the cost. No matter if right or wrong.
And the cost to America has been extremely detrimental to its National Interest. Here lies one of the roots of much of the disrespect, mistrust and even hate that growing sections of global public opinion feel towards the US and its key allies.
President Barack Obama’s problem right now is that America’s military establishment is very much aware of the stakes involved in any “preventive attack” against Syria and, much more importantly, against Iran. Intervention against either or both countries will undoubtedly lead to massive war in the Middle East.
Personally, I tends to agree with professor James Petras. The removal of Syria’s chemical deterrent and the US-Iran interim deal, are death blows to Syrian-Iranian resistance to the world Zionist power.
“In effect, Iran has conceded the maximum concessions regarding its strategic national defenses, nuclear facilities and uranium enrichment in what is supposedly the ‘initial’ round of negotiations, while ‘receiving’ the minimum of reciprocal concessions. This highly unfavorable, asymmetrical framework, will lead the US to see Iran as ‘ripe for regime change’ and demand even more decisive concessions designed to further weaken Iran’s defensive capacity. Future concessions will increase Iran’s vulnerability to intelligence gathering and undermine its role as a regional power and strategic ally of the Lebanese Hizbullah, the current beleaguered governments in Syria and Iraq and the Palestinians under Israeli occupation,” says professor James Petras.
The end result: The end of Islamic Revolution in Iran.
